പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ ഫലങ്ങളിൽ വളരാൻ
ആത്മാവിന്റെ ഫലങ്ങള് സ്നേഹം, ആനന്ദം, സമാധാനം, ക്ഷമ, ദയ, നന്മ, വിശ്വസ്തത, സൗമ്യത, ആത്മസംയമനം ഇവയാണ്. (ഗലാത്തിയാ 5:22) | The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Galatians 5:22)
Attributes of godly life: One can develop the fruit of the Spirit – attributes of life led by the Holy Spirit – by spending time in God’s presence and being immersed in prayer and his Word.
Love
സ്നേഹം ദീര്ഘക്ഷമയും ദയയുമുള്ളതാണ്. സ്നേഹം അസൂയപ്പെടുന്നില്ല. ആത്മപ്രശംസ ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല, അഹങ്കരിക്കുന്നില്ല. സ്നേഹം അനുചിതമായി പെരുമാറുന്നില്ല, സ്വാര്ഥം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നില്ല, കോപിക്കുന്നില്ല, വിദ്വേഷം പുലര്ത്തുന്നില്ല. അത് അനീതിയില് സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നില്ല, സത്യത്തില് ആഹ്ളാദം കൊള്ളുന്നു. സ്നേഹം സകലതും സഹിക്കുന്നു; സകലതും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു; സകലതും പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നു; സകലത്തെയും അതിജീവിക്കുന്നു. സ്നേഹം ഒരിക്കലും അവസാനിക്കുന്നില്ല. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. But as for prophecies, they will come to an end; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will come to an end. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
Joy
അങ്ങ് എനിക്കു ജീവന്റെ മാര്ഗം കാണിച്ചു തരുന്നു; അങ്ങയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് ആനന്ദത്തിന്റെ പൂര്ണതയുണ്ട്; അങ്ങയുടെ വലത്തുകൈയില് ശാശ്വതമായ സന്തോഷമുണ്ട്. (സങ്കീര്ത്തനങ്ങള് 16:11) | You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of joy; in your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:11)
Peace
അങ്ങയില് ഹൃദയമുറപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവനെ അങ്ങ് സമാധാനത്തിന്റെ തികവില് സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. എന്തെന്നാല്, അവന് അങ്ങയില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു. (ഏശയ്യാ 26:3) | You keep in perfect peace one whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. (Isaiah 26:3)
അവന് നമ്മുടെ സമാധാനമാണ്. ഇരുകൂട്ടരെയും അവന് ഒന്നിപ്പിക്കുകയും ശത്രുതയുടെ മതിലുകള് തകര്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. (Ephesians 2:14) Jesus does not simply give peace; He is peace. His crucifixion destroyed the barriers between Jews and gentiles; even gentiles could become part of the family of God.
Patience
കര്ത്താവിന്റെ മുന്പില് സ്വസ്ഥനായിരിക്കുക; ക്ഷമാപൂര്വം അവിടുത്തെ കാത്തിരിക്കുക. (സങ്കീര്ത്തനങ്ങള് 37:7) | Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. (Psalm 37:7)
In difficult situations, instead of worrying, wait patiently for the Lord to act and trust His timing. May God help you to face difficult situations with peace and calmness.
Kindness
ദൈവം ക്രിസ്തുവഴി നിങ്ങളോടു ക്ഷമിച്ചതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളും പരസ്പരം ക്ഷമിച്ചും കരുണ കാണിച്ചും ഹൃദയാര്ദ്രതയോടെ പെരുമാറുവിന്. (എഫേസോസ് 4:32) | Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you. (Ephesians 4:32)
Let’s show kindness and compassion to everyone, even those who may be difficult or provoke us. Let’s forgive others promptly and resolve conflicts swiftly. Being kind makes you feel good!
Goodness
നാം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കരവേലയാണ്; നാം ചെയ്യാന് വേണ്ടി ദൈവം മുന്കൂട്ടി ഒരുക്കിയ സത്പ്രവൃത്തികള്ക്കായി യേശുക്രിസ്തുവില് സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരാണ്. (എഫേസോസ് 2:10) | For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life. (Ephesians 2:10)
Goodness involves being virtuous and doing what is right. We are God’s masterpiece, called to help others and honor Him.
Faithfulness
യജമാനന് പറഞ്ഞു: കൊള്ളാം, നല്ലവനും വിശ്വസ്തനുമായ ഭൃത്യാ, അല്പകാര്യങ്ങളില് വിശ്വസ്ത നായിരുന്നതിനാല് അനേക കാര്യങ്ങള് നിന്നെ ഞാന് ഭരമേല്പിക്കും. നിന്റെ യജമാനന്റെ സന്തോഷത്തിലേക്കു നീ പ്രവേശിക്കുക. (മത്തായി 25:21) | His master said to him: Well done, good and trustworthy slave; you have been trustworthy in a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master. (Matthew 25:21)
Faithfulness is loyalty to God and his teachings, which shapes the way we live. It requires us to submit our ways to God. God wants us to be faithful like Him.
Gentleness
ദൈവസന്നിധിയില് വിശിഷ്ടമായ, സൗമ്യവും ശാന്തവുമായ ആത്മാവാകുന്ന അനശ്വരരത്നം അണിഞ്ഞ ആന്തരിക വ്യക്തിത്വമാണ് (നിങ്ങളുടെ അലങ്കാരം). (1 പത്രോസ് 3:4) | Let your adornment be the inner self with the lasting beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight. (1 peter 3:4)
Gentleness is the quality of being kind, caring and understanding. If we allow the Holy Spirit to lead us, we will be filled with fruit of gentleness.
Self-control
എന്തെന്നാല്, ഭീരുത്വത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെയല്ല ദൈവം നമുക്കു നല്കിയത്; ശക്തിയുടെയും സ്നേഹത്തിന്റേയും ആത്മനിയന്ത്രണത്തിന്റേയും ആത്മാവിനെയാണ്. (2 തിമോത്തേയോസ് 1:7) | For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:7)
Self-control is the ability to control one’s thoughts, feelings and actions. It helps us to make wise choices, to resist temptations and to progress steadily towards life goals.
