1. Smile. Just smile, it will make you happier. You may look at some pictures of smiling faces and imitate the smile; laugh out loud; recall some funny moments.

2. Listen to your favorite music. Do you have a collection of music which can be accessed quickly?

3. Pray. Talk to God about what is bothering you and ask for his help. Let go of what is not in your control and let God to take control.

4. Do physical exercises such as brisk walk, stretching your body muscles or do routine activities such as house chores, decluttering table, drinking water, enjoying a cup of coffee/tea.

5. Take a few deep breaths. While breathing in, imagine joy and peace coming in and filling your being; when breathing out, imagine stress and problems leaving you.

6. Chat with friends or dear ones, add some fun.

7. Engage in some entertainment activities. Read jokes on the web, or watch some fun clips online. Look at beautiful things – sceneries, children, cute animals, inspiring people. Change your desktop image into a beautiful picture. Do a Google image search on landscapes or beautiful nature.

8. Write down what you feel, vent out all emotions, relax and then tear the paper.

9. Feel gratitude: Just pen down a list of positive things that are going on in your life or a list of things that you are grateful for.

10. Recite an inspiring Word of God. Pick a scripture card.
