ക്രിസ്തുവില് ആയിരിക്കുന്നവന് പുതിയ സൃഷ്ടിയാണ്. പഴയതു കടന്നുപോയി. ഇതാ, പുതിയതു വന്നുകഴിഞ്ഞു. (2 കൊറിന്തോസ് 5:17) | If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
On this year-end, give thanks to the Lord for His blessings. Let go of the past, but learn from it. Embrace the New Year without worry or fear; let God guide your future.

Your past doesn’t define you, it prepares you. Your mistakes or failures help you to depend on God. God will bless you and take you to the forefront in the new year.
നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ കര്ത്താവ്, വിജയം നല്കുന്ന യോദ്ധാവ്, നിന്റെ മധ്യേ ഉണ്ട്. (സെഫാനിയ 3:17) | The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. (Zephaniah 3:17)
With the new year just arriving, may the Word of God (about hope and success) fill you with fresh energy, hope and certainty of success.
ദൈവത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക്, അവിടുത്തെ പദ്ധതിയനുസരിച്ചു വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര്ക്ക്, അവിടുന്നു സകലവും നന്മയ്ക്കായി പരിണമിപ്പിക്കുന്നുവെന്നു നമുക്കറിയാമല്ലോ. (റോമാ 8:28) | We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)
There are good things that only suffering can bring. God can turn around our sufferings and mistakes into something good, once we decide to live according to his purpose. This is a great reason to be joyful at all times.
അവന് തന്റെ ജനത്തെ അവരുടെ പാപങ്ങളില് നിന്നു മോചിപ്പിക്കും. ദൈവം നമ്മോടുകൂടെ എന്നര്ഥമുള്ള എമ്മാനുവേല് എന്ന് അവന് വിളിക്കപ്പെടും. (മത്തായി 1:21, 23) | He will save his people from their sins. .. they will call him Emmanuel (which means “God with us”). (Matthew 1:21,23)
Christmas is a season of great joy. It reminds God’s great love for us. If something steals your joy, remind yourself this: you have a God who is always with you – accepting you as you are, forgiving you, loving you, taking care of all your needs and protecting you. Enjoy His presence.

സ്നേഹമായിരിക്കട്ടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം. (1 കൊറിന്തോസ് 14:1) | Pursue love and strive for the spiritual gifts. (1 Corinthians 14:1)
Leadership driven by ego or desire for gain gives only short-term results. Leadership driven by (compassionate) love is transformative.
ഞാന് മുന്തിരിച്ചെടിയും നിങ്ങള് ശാഖകളുമാണ്. ആര് എന്നിലും ഞാന് അവനിലും വസിക്കുന്നുവോ അവന് ഏറെ ഫലം പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുന്നു. എന്നെ കൂടാതെ നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഒന്നും ചെയ്യാന് കഴിയുകയില്ല. (യോഹന്നാന് 15:5) | I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)
Leadership is about connection, action and results. You need to be connected to the source (Jesus) to avoid draining out or burnout.
കഴിവും ദൈവഭയമുള്ളവരും സത്യസന്ധരും ആയ ആളുകളെ ജനത്തില്നിന്നു തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത് അവരെ നൂറും അന്പതും പത്തും വീതമുള്ള ഗണങ്ങളുടെ അധിപന്മാരായി നിയമിക്കുക. വലിയ കാര്യങ്ങള് നിന്നെ ഏല്പിക്കുകയും ചെറിയവ അവര് തന്നെ തീരുമാനിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ. അങ്ങനെ അവര് നിന്നെ സഹായിക്കുമ്പോള് നിന്റെ ജോലി എളുപ്പമാകും. (Leader) ആരോപണങ്ങള്ക്കതീതനും .. സംയമിയും വിവേകിയും അച്ചടക്കമുള്ളവനും അതിഥി സല്ക്കാരപ്രിയനും യോഗ്യനായ പ്രബോധക നുമായിരിക്കണം. അവന് മദ്യാസക്തനോ അക്രമവാസന യുള്ളവനോ ആയിരിക്കരുത്; സൗമ്യശീലനും കലഹിക്കാത്തവനും അത്യാഗ്രഹ മില്ലാത്തവനുമായിരിക്കണം. . പുറത്തുള്ളവരുടെ യിടയിലും നല്ല മതിപ്പുള്ള വനായിരിക്കണം. (1 തിമോത്തേയോസ് 3:2-7) | A leader must be above reproach, .. temperate, sensible, respectable, hospitable, an apt teacher, not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, and not a lover of money. He must be well thought of by outsiders. (1 Timothy 3:2-7)
ജോലിയില് വിദഗ്ധനായ ഒരുവനെ നോക്കൂ. അവനു രാജ സന്നിധിയില് സ്ഥാനം ലഭിക്കും; അവന് സാധാരണക്കാരോടു കൂടെ നില്ക്കേണ്ടി വരുകയില്ല. (സുഭാഷിതങ്ങള് 22:29) | Do you see those who are skillful in their work? They will serve kings rather than working for ordinary people. (Proverbs 22:29)
Build relevant skills and demonstrate your competence. If you do your job well, leaders will notice your work and your career growth will be faster.
നിങ്ങളില് ഏറ്റവും വലിയവന് ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയവനെപ്പോലെയും അധികാരമുള്ളവന് ശുശ്രൂഷകനെപ്പോലെയും ആയിരിക്കണം. (ലൂക്കാ 22:26) | The greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like one who serves. (Luke 22:26)
‘Servant leadership’ is a revolutionary concept in the corporate circles. This is about serving instead of commanding and showing humility instead of exerting authority. With this type of leadership “Performance goes through the roof”. Amazing, it was told 2000 years back in Bible!
നിങ്ങളുടെ നേതാക്കന്മാരെ അനുസരിക്കുകയും അവര്ക്കു വിധേയരായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുവിന്. .. അങ്ങനെ അവര് സന്തോഷപൂര്വം, സങ്കടം കൂടാതെ, ആ കൃത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് ഇടയാകട്ടെ. അല്ലെങ്കില് അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പ്രയോജന രഹിതമായിരിക്കും. നിന്റെ സഹോദരന് നിന്നോട് എന്തെങ്കിലും വിരോധം ഉണ്ടെന്ന് .. ഓര്ത്താല്, .. സഹോദരനോടു രമ്യതപ്പെടുക. (മത്തായി 5:23) | If your brother has something against you…go at once to make peace with your brother… (Matthew 5:23)
One of the top priority for a leader is resolving conflicts, if any, at the earliest; otherwise it can drag down progress. Choose the right place, right time and right words to resolve a conflict.
നിങ്ങളുടെ ജോലി എന്തു തന്നെയായിരുന്നാലും മനുഷ്യനെയല്ല, ദൈവത്തെ സേവിക്കുന്നതു പോലെ ഹൃദയ പരമാര്ഥതയോടെ ചെയ്യുവിന്. (കൊളോസോസ് 3:23) | Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord. (Colossians 3:23)
Serving others is serving God and do it sincerely. This pleases God and we become the best at what we do. Everyone respects competent people.
മറ്റുള്ളവര് നിങ്ങളോട് എങ്ങനെ പെരുമാറണമെന്ന് നിങ്ങള് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നുവോ, അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ നിങ്ങള് അവരോടും പെരുമാറുവിന്. (ലൂക്കാ 6:31) | Do to others as you would have them do to you. (Luke 6:31)
People universally demand respect, love, and appreciation. Leaders who meet their needs are more influential.
എന്നെ വിളിക്കുക, ഞാന് മറുപടി നല്കും. നിന്റെ ബുദ്ധിക്കതീതമായ മഹത്തും നിഗൂഢവുമായ കാര്യങ്ങള് ഞാന് നിനക്കു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും. (ജെറെമിയ 33:3) | Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. (Jeremiah 33:3)
Leaders need wisdom, for which they need to find time to connect with God.
അവന് (ദാവീദ്) പരമാര്ഥ ഹൃദയത്തോടെ അവരെ മേയിച്ചു; കരവിരുതോടെ അവന് അവരെ നയിച്ചു. (സങ്കീര്ത്തനങ്ങള് 78:72) | David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them. (Psalm 78:72)
David was a skilled fighter and a great leader, and trusted God in the face of terrifying opposition. He was so close to God and Psalms are his conversations with God. We can learn a lot from the leaders appearing in the Bible stories.
മാത്സര്യമോ വ്യര്ഥാഭിമാനമോ മൂലം നിങ്ങള് ഒന്നും ചെയ്യരുത്. മറിച്ച്, ഓരോരുത്തരും താഴ്മയോടെ മറ്റുള്ളവരെ തങ്ങളെക്കാള് ശ്രേഷ്ഠരായി കരുതണം. ഓരോരുത്തരും സ്വന്തം താത്പര്യം മാത്രം നോക്കിയാല് പോരാ; മറിച്ച് മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ താത്പര്യവും പരിഗണിക്കണം. (ഫിലിപ്പി 2:3,4) | Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves. Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others. (Philippians 2:3-4)
Influence through service is more powerful than influence through position.
നീ എല്ലാവിധത്തിലും സത്പ്രവൃത്തികള്ക്കു മാതൃകയായിരിക്കുക; നിന്റെ പ്രബോധനങ്ങളില് സത്യസന്ധതയും ഗൗരവബോധവും, ആരും കുറ്റം പറയാത്തവിധം നിര്ദോഷമായ സംസാര രീതിയും പ്രകടമാക്കുക. (തീത്തോസ് 2:7,8) | Show yourself in all respects a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, gravity, and sound speech that cannot be censured; then any opponent will be put to shame, having nothing evil to say of us. (Titus 2:7-8)
പിതാവായ ദൈവത്താല് തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവരും, യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനു വിധേയരായിരിക്കുന്നതിനും അവന്റെ രക്തത്താല് തളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതിനും വേണ്ടി മുന്കൂട്ടി നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരും ആത്മാവിനാല് വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരുമായ .. നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് കൃപയും സമാധാനവും സമൃദ്ധമായുണ്ടാകട്ടെ. (1 പത്രോസ് 1:2) | You were chosen according to the purpose of God the Father and were made a holy people by his Spirit… (1 Peter 1:2)
God has chosen YOU for a purpose. God will provide you everything you need, to accomplish what you have been called for. That gives us great hope.
എന്തെന്നാല്, ഭീരുത്വത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെയല്ല ദൈവം നമുക്കു നല്കിയത്; ശക്തിയുടെയും സ്നേഹത്തിന്റെയും ആത്മ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിന്റെയും ആത്മാവിനെയാണ്. (2 തിമോത്തേയോസ് 1:7) | For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:7)
അല്പകാലത്തേക്കു വിവിധ പരീക്ഷകള് നിമിത്തം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വ്യസനിക്കേണ്ടി വന്നാലും അതില് ആനന്ദിക്കുവിന്. കാരണം, അഗ്നിശോധനയെ അതിജീവിക്കുന്ന നശ്വരമായ സ്വര്ണത്തേക്കാള് വിലയേറിയതായിരിക്കും പരീക്ഷകളെ അതിജീവിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം. (1 പത്രോസ് 1:6-7) | With this hope you can be happy even if you need to have sorrow and all kinds of tests for awhile. These tests have come to prove your faith and to show that it is good. Gold, which can be destroyed, is tested by fire. Your faith is worth much more than gold and it must be tested also. (1 Peter 1:6-7)
As a leader, you may come across days full of problems, pressures, and stresses. It is temporary. Use them to deepen your faith and to build endurance.
നന്മ ചെയ്യുന്നതില് നമുക്കു മടുപ്പുതോന്നാതിരിക്കട്ടെ. എന്തെന്നാല്, നമുക്കു മടുപ്പുതോന്നാതിരുന്നാല് യഥാകാലം വിളവെടുക്കാം. (ഗലാത്തിയാ 6:9) | Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9)
Leaders persist until they succeed. (Leadership principles are applicable even at family level, especially for the Head-of-the-family and the homemaker.)
മറ്റുള്ളവര് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ചെയ്തു തരണമെന്നു നിങ്ങള് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം നിങ്ങള് അവര്ക്കു ചെയ്യുവിന്. ഇതാണു നിയമവും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും. (മത്തായി 7:12) | So in every situation, always do to others what you would want them do to you. This sums up all the commands and teachings in the Bible. (Matthew 7:12)
നിങ്ങള് ഇപ്പോള് ചെയ്യുന്നതു പോലെ തന്നെ തമ്മില്ത്തമ്മില് ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുകയും പരസ്പരോന്നമനത്തിനു വേണ്ടി യത്നിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുവിന്. (1 തെസലോനിക്കാ 5:11) | Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
Good leaders love and encourage people and build them up.
പ്രവചനം (divine guidance) ഇല്ലാത്തിടത്തു ജനങ്ങള് നിയന്ത്രണം വെടിയുന്നു. (സുഭാഷിതങ്ങള് 29:18) | Where there is no vision, the people perish. (Proverbs 29:18 KJV)
A good leader provides vision and hope to the people.
തീക്ഷ്ണതയില് മാന്ദ്യം കൂടാതെ ആത്മാവില് ജ്വലിക്കുന്നവരായി കര്ത്താവിനെ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കുവിന്. (റോമാ 12:11) | Never flag in zeal, be aglow with the Spirit, serve the Lord. (Romans 12:11)
Daily Word has completed 6 months, and in Dec, the focus will be on the verses for leaders. Let us pray for more Christ-like leaders for our church and the nation.

The world desperately needs compassionate leaders like our Good Shepherd.
